Founded in 2023, Excelsior Medic Solutions is a practitioner-led EMS education and alignment organization focused on delivering scalable training infrastructure for collegiate programs, universities, and healthcare organizations.
Excelsior provides multi-program instructor alignment (AHA, ARC, ASHI), continuing education development, and structured training solutions designed to support institutional compliance, operational sustainability, and long-term growth. Cole serves as Executive Director of Excelsior Medic Solutions, overseeing strategic growth, institutional partnerships, and program development. With a background in advanced prehospital care and national EMS education, he focuses on building scalable training models that support collegiate EMS and healthcare organizations worldwide.
His work centers on bridging clinical excellence with operational structure, ensuring education programs are both high-quality and sustainable.
Director of Innovation & Systems Development
Cooper Cardenas
Cooper serves as Director of Innovation & Systems Development, leading the design and implementation of Excelsior’s internal infrastructure, automation systems, and operational architecture. A paramedic and certified instructor in BLS, ACLS, and PALS, he brings both clinical credibility and systems-level problem-solving expertise to the organization.
He specializes in building scalable systems that enhance efficiency, improve workflow, and support long-term organizational growth.
Clinical Director
Kevin Braun, PA-C
Kevin serves as Clinical Director for Excelsior Medic Solutions, supporting clinical oversight, curriculum development, and the advancement of evidence-based education across the organization’s programs. A U.S. Marine, former Flight Paramedic, and practicing Physician Assistant, he brings extensive experience in high-acuity prehospital and critical care medicine.
His work focuses on ensuring Excelsior’s educational content reflects current clinical standards while strengthening the clinical reasoning and decision-making skills of EMS professionals.
